  • low heat to prevent shrinkage
  • breathable

Denim

  • made of cotton
  • thicker

Linen

  • made from flaxplant
  • extremely lightweight (used for hot sleepers/warm temps)
  • durable

Silk

Polyester

  • made from petroleum (non-renewable resource)
  • prone to shrinkage like cotton
  • wisk's away moisture (not as good as wool)

Alt: Acrylic

  • also petroleum based
  • but has a softer/wool like feel, more fragile

Wool

  • merino wool comes from merino sheep
  • breathable/insulated/soft
  • antibacterial/odor-resistant, reducing need to wash
  • wicks mousture, so keeps warm without feel damp

  • very stretchy and flexible so used in active/swim/dance
  • waterproof

  • needs sections cause will clump and drop from gravity

  • front/flexible used for padding
