Sauted Broccoli

  • Boiling can cause some of the more heat-sensitive nutrients, like vitamin C, to leach out
  • Steaming: helps trap in moisture
  • Stems: a great source of prebiotic fiber.
  • Season: October through April, which is when it’s richest in nutrients (but throughout year grown)

Seasonings

  • pepper
  • garlic powder or garlic
  • lemon
  • garnish with Parmesan or nutritional yeast ???
